Mark Fulk, 41, was apprehended by police early this morning after a standoff at East Stella Avenue and Stop 18 in Seelyville, where shots were allegedly fired.
Video from the scene shows that Fulk barricaded himself in his home and refused to leave the residence. Shortly after police arrived on scene Fulk’s mother arrived and spoke with the police and THVN.

Fulk’s mother stated that he had been drinking earlier in the night and had a verbal dispute with his girlfriend, which she claims likely caused the altercation. Fulk’s mother adamantly stated that he did not possess any firearms or have any in the house with him at the time of the standoff.
Fulk is currently in police custody at Vigo County Jail and is facing a charge of felony criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon. Fulk currently has no bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 24, 2023.
As of now, no injuries have been reported from the standoff. Vigo County Sheriff’s Department has not yet released a statement about the incident.
