With nearly 10% of votes counted, representing early election and absentee ballots, results show Brad Anderson with a narrow lead over Steve (Top Guns) Ellis, 2,123 to 1,903, in the Republican primary race for County Council at large.

Other close races include Marie Belzile-Theisz leading Jim Bramble, 2,171 to 1,865, for the Democratic County Council at large candidacy, and Janie Myers over John Fitzpatrick 1,732 to 1,383 in the race for County Coroner.

Incumbent Chris Switzer has a substantial lead over challenger Anthony Rubinacci, 2,232 to 1,081, in the Republican primary race for County Commissioner District 2.

In the Democratic primary race for County Treasurer Tona Bean has taken a strong early lead over Billy Joy with 2,054 votes to 961 for Joy.
