Indiana University has defeated the Washington Huskies 31-17, to go 8-0 on the season. IU was led by back up quarterback Tayven Jackson, the 6 foot 4 redshirt sophomore recruited from Center Grove high school.

Not only is IU 8-0 but they have beat every team by double digits. In a post game interview coach Curt Cignetti attributed the win to a mid game adjustment shifting their focus to the run game.

IU relied heavily on running back Justice Ellison in the second half. The Hoosiers only attempted five passes in the third and fourth quarters combined. He ended the day with 28 carries, 121 yards, and a touchdown.

Indiana University has a tough schedule facing Michigan State, Michigan, and Ohio State in the next three weeks. There next game will be against the Spartans November 2nd in East Lansing.
