Old National Bank CFO Placed on Leave Amid Child Molestation Charges

According to a report in the Evansville Courier & Press, Old National Bank CFO Brendon Falconer was apprehended in Warrick County on charges related to child molestation, prompting his placement on administrative leave by the bank.

According to court records, Falconer faces two felony charges stemming from allegations that he engaged in inappropriate behavior with a juvenile over several years. The accusations include instances of touching the victim inappropriately. The incidents allegedly began when the victim was around 7 years old, and continued until she was 9. The victim eventually disclosed the abuse, prompting legal action.

In response to inquiries, Old National Bank issued a statement confirming Falconer’s administrative leave. The statement emphasized that the leave was due to a “personal matter unrelated to the company” and that there were no disagreements between Falconer and the bank regarding the decision.

John V. Moran IV has been appointed as interim CFO in Falconer’s absence. Falconer’s legal proceedings are ongoing, with his initial hearing scheduled for April 29. He was released from Warrick County jail after posting a $4,000 bond, but is subject to a non-contact order barring him from contacting the victim.
